With Hong Kong's Apple Daily,  Disappearing Hong Kong mourns for the loss of 9 lives in Egypt Hot Air Balloon Accident on 26th February 2013.

港•贺岁片-《西游记大结局之仙履奇缘》（1995年）/Hong Kong Chinese New Year Film-A Chinese Odyssey 2 (1995)

我相信70和80后的读者，对于整个90年代年年贺岁片，都有周星驰的现象感到不陌生。

从当初的“无厘头”到这部笑中有感动的电影，除了见证周星驰的求变，也反映了香港电影在1997年前的变迁。

那段日子（1991-1997年）是港产片辉煌日子的末端。

以下是香港才子卢冠挺替电影写的主题曲，《一生所爱》。老实说，这首歌很荡气回肠。

I believe lots of cinema viewers whom grew up in Hong Kong, Taiwan and Singapore will remember the era where Stephen Chow's films is a staple during the Chinese New Year. That was during 1991 to 1997. 

From the stage of his films that does not requires much thinking to A Chinese Odyssey Part I and II, we witnessed the desire for an entertainer to improve himself. Hence, we see the more serious stuff like CJ7, which was not as popular as his Kungfu Hustle. 

Nevertheless, A Chinese Odyssey is considered Stephen Chow best films. His later films could not surpassed it. 

Below is the theme song A Lifeline Love for the film. It was sung by the talented  Lowell Lo. 

Hong Kong Valentine Song- "Drenched" by Qu Wanting

As this year Valentine's Day is in the Lunar New Year period, what main theme from Hong Kong film can fit into the occasion? 

The answer is "Drenched" sung by Qu Wanting. 

The hit song from the popular film Love In The Butt, it sums up the love-hate relationship between the two well-loved characters, Jimmy and Cherie. 

I do not waste any space here. Henceforth, please enjoy this great song. 

Oh man, how I wish I can set up a radio station and play the hits.

From Disappearing Hong Kong, I wish all a Happy Lunar New Year! 

What is more adapt than to listen  to Sam Hui singing God of Fortune during this period. In the 1970s, Hong Kong's economic boom resulting the society obessed with wealth. 

Will be featuring movies and/or songs representing Hong Kong's classical period from the 1970s to 1997 for the next 15 days.

香港的新年歌-吴君如《新年快乐》

二十年，香港诙谐女王吴君如出唱片，唱了《新年快乐》。

九年后，她成了香港金像奖和台湾金马奖影后。

前后二十年，她的变化很大。

二十年后，每个人都会记得她，而不是香港。

看了我的香港朋友在他的Facebook的转载，就让我想起我每次飞香港时，飞机要抵达的时候，必定听的歌曲。

这，就是《香港之夜》。

虽然是日本人写的曲，但是由跨越中国，台湾，香港和日本四地的邓丽君来诠释，是多么绕梁三日的。

伊人以逝，歌曲仍在，香港多美好，只在心里头。

Night of Hong Kong is one of the songs I feel that represents the romantic side of Hong Kong. 

Sung by the late Taiwanese singer, Teresa Teng in 1978, it remains one of the classical hits that are on the same catergory as Kowloon, Hong Kong. 

Hai~ Although she left us, but this Hong Kong hit will remain forever.
