"Disappearing Hong Kong" will have less contents as it is in the midst of settling administration issues with Google.
Google, being the parent company of Blogger has the strictest requirements that, to many whom treasure editorial freedom, will find it hard to comprehend.
I do respect copyright holders and understand how Google, as the vendor, is just the middle man.
But, my blog is the avenue to share translated content from Cantonese or Mandarin to the English reading audience. To leave a digital footprint through Youtube videos and other online sources and display it for Hong Kong before it disappeared forever.
To disabled account when it is on application process, is just too much.
Now what does that says for you readers.
1. Editorial will source for sites that allows revenue generating content while there is no compromise in third party contents sharing. And that is Youtube. (The irony is Youtube and Google are one big family).
2. Once a suitable site is found, Editorial will announce the new URL on Facebook page and at this blog.
3. At the meantime, "Disappearing Hong Kong" Facebook page will update the status regularly. Please do like the page:
For a passionate blogger and a Hong Kong lover, it is a sad decision to leave blogger if the issue is not settled. I can not post anything that have Youtube content in future, just for the sake of joining their Adsense.
This is to Editorial,is plain absurd.
I do seek understanding from you readers whom have been reading regularly since October 01, 2012.
